Athaleene Moore

Athaleene Wheaton Moore 1920 ~ 2007 Coalville - Athaleene Wheaton Moore, of Coalville, Utah, passed away peacefully at her home on August 17, 2007 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Athaleene was born January 23, 1920 in Coalville, UT to William and Emma Staples Wheaton. She graduated from North Summit High School. She married Frank W Moore on January 10, 1941. Together they were part owners of Moore Motor and TE Moore Ranch Company. Athaleene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was employed by Dean's Coffee Shop for several years and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Athaleene was a woman of amazing compassion and had a great love for her sisters. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made each one of their day's special. She touched many lives with her kindness and always had an open door to make everyone feel welcome.

Survived by her children Frankie Jean (Glen) Brown, Marji (Terry) Shepherd, Thomas (Christy) Moore and Ronald (Annette) Moore; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Glen) Blonquist and Ellen Salmon; Sisters-in-law Mae Moore and Caffie Wheaton.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Coalville Stake Center, with a viewing for family and friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow the services at the Coalville Cemetery.
