Beth Lucille Morton White, 84, died Wednesday, Oct 20, 2010 in Salt Lake City.
She was born Nov. 7, 1925, in Evanston, WY to Wilburn and Ardell Wilde Morton. On July 1, 1944 she married Ozias LaVern White in Coalville, UT. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on Oct 29, 1952.
Beth passed away after a long and courageous fight from cancer. She loved going to her cabin that she purchased from collecting aluminum cans. She loved quilting, gardening and working on her genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ozias LaVern White of 62 years. Surviving are three children, two sons, and one daughter. Morton White (Penny), Richard Barry White (Zolene), Marykay White-hoggan, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and her faithful, diligent four-legged friends, Tatum and Nanook.
She was a wonderful Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Great grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. They always brought a smile to her face.
She had a very strong testimony in the LDS faith. She was a faithful visiting teacher and loved serving in the church.
She is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her - family and friends.
We love you mom, and will be with you again someday.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Coalville Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Larkin Sunset Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, UT, Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
