Morgan a�" Betty Lou Terry Randall, 86, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010, at her home in Morgan, Utah.

Betty was born December 9, 1923 in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah to James Loren Terry and Viva Leona Mortensen (Folster) Terry. On October 21, 1942, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard "Dick" Randall, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Betty graduated from Morgan High School in 1942. She was a Morgan High School cheerleader. Betty played in the high school orchestra and band, sang in the choir, and supported any musical event.

Betty enjoyed serving in the LDS Church. She was a Golden Gleaner, Relief Society President, Relief Society Stake Board (Music and Young Adults), Sunday School Stake Board, Young Marrieds' advisor, Stake MIA secretary. She also directed choruses (Singing Mothers), and many other choirs and started the first Junior Sunday School in Morgan. Dick and Betty served as the stake young adult leaders and also on a temple sealing team. They also served a mission for the LDS Church in the Michigan Detroit Mission where she served in the mission office. She thoroughly enjoyed her most recent calling as a Primary Teacher. Betty was an active member of the Morgan 3rd Ward.

Betty accompanied Dick on many bus trips bringing her "famous" brownies where together they influenced the lives of many young people in the Morgan community. They enjoyed traveling in the motor home, taking cruises and wintering in St. George. She served as the American Legion Auxiliary President. She was employed at HAFB, as a switchboard operator, Browning Arms, Morgan County Courthouse, and the United States Postal Service.

In her recent years, Betty enjoyed going to lunch and then playing "train" with the ladies. She also went to numerous activities and family parties with her family. Betty loved her family to come visit, especially for the Saturday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve holidays.

A very important part of her life was the love she had for her husband, her three sons and their wives, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty was always so proud of her family. Surviving are her three sons, Richard Gordon (Linda) Randall, South Ogden; David Terry (Janet) Randall, Morgan; Chris Terry (Jill) Randall, Hyde Park; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Janet (Marvin) Rabe, Ogden; and Ruthe (LeRoy) Petersen, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister.

Thanks to her many friends and neighbors for their love, kindness, and support.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morgan LDS Stake Center. 355 North 700 East, Morgan, Utah.

Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 45 West 200 North in Morgan, Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Morgan LDS Stake Center.

Interment, North Morgan Cemetery.
