Beverly Pace

PARK CITY a�" Beverly Jean Felton Pace, 78, passed away peacefully with family at her side on November 2, 2010.

She was born June 11, 1932 in Park City (Snyderville) Utah to George Lucious Felton and Jennie Ellen Fletcher. She grew up on her father's farm in Snyderville and loved to ride horses. She graduated from Park City High School and later attended BYU. She married Standley Brown Pace on January 14, 1956 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Beverly was creative, artistic and very musical. She played the guitar, piano and organ and while in high school she played in a musical comedy trio. She inspired a love of music for those who knew her. Beverly was the pianist for two youth singing groups: Lollipop Kids and Sunshine Singers. Her art skills were used to help make parade floats and she became quite a good cartoonist. She loved to sew and was involved for many years in the Park City Heart Fund Fashion Show. Beverly loved to go to the movies with friends and family, enjoyed canning, and loved to travel.

She had a great sense of humor and kept that even in her later years and never forgot to say thank you. Beverly worked at the Telephone Company in Park City as a switch board operator. She is a member of the LDS church and served in many callings including the organist for many years.

She is survived by her husband Standley Brown Pace, her four children: Michael (Janene) Pace; Robert (Linda) Pace; Kevin Pace; Ann (Chris) Billeter; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters: LaVerne Miller and Grace (Glade) Hone.

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Luella Oakeson; Margaret Pope; and her brother Robert Felton.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Silver Creek Ward Chapel, 510 E Silver Summit Pkwy, Park City, UT. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Silver Creek Chapel and November 6 from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
