Beverly Poll Warner, 88, passed away in her home surrounded by family on November 24, 2017. She was the daughter of William Lester Poll and Sylvia Laverne Jaques Poll. She was born at Gateway, Utah on September 7, 1929.
She spent her youth in South Weber and graduated from Davis High School. Along with several of her sisters, she played softball with the Utah Shamrocks for many years and was later inducted into the Utah Softball Hall of Fame.
On June 7, 1957 she married Paul F. Warner (Dick) in the Salt Lake Temple. They spent the next 60 years together raising their 5 children on the farm in Mountain Green. She was a homemaker all of her life and worked at Hill Air Force Base for several years. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, family, and siblings. Beverly and Paul spent countless hours following their children and grandchildren in all of their activities.
As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various callings. She fulfilled a mission to Australia and then together with her husband they served in the Richmond Virginia Mission and later in the Ogden Inner City Mission. They enjoyed working in the Ogden Temple together.
Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Paul; and her five children: Roger (Marti) Warner, Paula (Dave) Miller, Jacie (Stan) Woody, Wade (Jodee) Warner, and Robyn (Dale) Casper. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Cash, Marie (Owen) Cash, Caroline (Dick) Child; and sister-in-law, Judy Poll.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Glen, Dale, Verl, Duane, and two sisters, Lola, Donna; and her grandson, Ben.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017. All services will be at the Highlands Church, 5378 W Old Highway Road, Mountain Green, UT 84050.
Interment, Mountain Green Cemetery.
