Bobbi Keyes

HENEFER - Barbara J. "Bobbie" Keyes, 82, died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at her home in Henefer.
She was born March 11, 1926 in Milton, Utah to Alvin W. and Emma M. Jensen. She Married Bud Keyes on May 16, 1947 in Milton, Utah. She is survived by her husband Bud Keyes, son Fred (Linda) Keyes, grandson Alex Bud (Toni) Keyes, granddaughter Brigitte Keyes (Sean) New, great-granddaughter Nicole Keyes (mother, Marie Keyes), sister Doris (Jack) Durrant, and brother Verdun Jensen.
She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her family. In her earlier married years, she and Bud would go to Yellowstone almost every weekend of the summer. She was an excellent hunter, harvesting several trophy deer in her lifetime.
Bobbie loved children and enjoyed teaching them in primary and Sunday school. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved being with her, playing and laughing.
We will greatly miss her smile and pleasant personality. She was always there whenever anyone needed help or just a hug to make us feel better.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Henefer Church. Friends and family may call at the church Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Henefer Cemetery.
