Bradley Lawrence Barnett

Bradley Lawrence Barnett, (57) was called home on November 26, 2023. Brad was born to Gary Barnett and RuthAnn Penman on July 5, 1966. He lived in Morgan most of his life, and attended Morgan High School where he enjoyed wrestling and playing football.

Brad met the love of his life and best friend Caterina (Vallejos) Barnett in Henefer, Utah in 1990. They married on September 20, 1996, and enjoyed the last 33 years together. They were blessed with three children and their spouses, Heaven (Colton) Anderson, Preston (Cheyenne) Barnett, Alisha (Tucker) Perkins, along with three beautiful grandchildren, Preslee, Racin, and Riggin that were his world.

He worked in the oil field for over 30 years and recently retired to be home with his family. He found a job that he loved working for Young Powersports of Morgan. Brad started “Moto Monday” when he got his job at Young’s. He looked forward to that day every week to be on the seat of his bike shifting gears, with not a care in the world!

Brad had a contagious smile and laugh that everyone loved. He had a love and passion for working on his dirt bikes, snowmobiles, or anything that had a motor. You could always find him in his shop putting things on his bikes or sled, whether that may be aftermarket parts or stickers on just about anything. He loved riding his dirt bikes, snowmobiling, camping, and most of all his family.

Brad & Caterina enjoyed going on side by side rides up in the mountains to enjoy the scenery and each other’s company.  You could always catch them smiling at each other no matter what.  They had a love for each other that is unconditional.

He was a wonderful Husband, Father, and Papa. He was the light of our world and will forever be missed.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 30 from 6-8 pm at the Walker Mortuary, 45 West 200 North Street, Morgan, Utah. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 4 at 11 am at the Morgan Stake Center, 355 North 700 East, Morgan, Utah. Interment will be at the North Morgan Cemetery.
