Brenda Christiansen
June 30, 1958 — August 26, 2014
Brenda Christiansen passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Murray, Utah at the age of 56 from complications including kidney failure following open heart surgery. She was born June 30, 1958 in Price, Utah a�" the youngest of five children born to Lila and Rellus Christiansen.
Brenda was the proud and loving mother to her daughter Vanessa and a favorite Aunt "B" to her many nieces and nephews. Her infectious laugh and courageous spirit will be missed by everyone who knew her. A member of the Morgan High graduating class of 1976, she obtained a B.S. degree from BYU and a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Weber State. As a nurse she worked at several hospitals, home health care and hospice. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She loved to travel, camp and had a soft spot in her heart for animals. Brenda loved to socialize and kept us all connected.
Surviving are: daughter Vanessa; brothers and sisters: Clay (Diane) Christiansen, Jane Peterson, Debra (Tom) Carley, Marilyn (Dean) Halling, and Jose (Patricia) Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 30 at 11 a.m. at the Riverside First Ward LDS Chapel, 5425 S. Allendale Dr. (600 W.) in Murray. A viewing will be from 9:00 a�" 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be at the Emery, Utah Cemetery on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, at 1:00 p.m.
