Brenda Rasmussen

Brenda Lee Rasmussen Potter (Grandma Bunny) died peacefully, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, December 26, 2007, after a long illness. A daughter of Lee and Beverly Rasmussen, she was born March 20, 1963 in Coalville, Utah. At age four months, the family moved to Holladay, Utah where she spent her childhood and schooldays.

While married to Richard Potter (later divorced) she had three daughters. She was a loving mother and excellent homemaker. Her girls were always well cared for and beautifully clothed. She worked quickly and efficiently and was artistically inclined. She loved working in her garden and enjoyed a good book.

At the early age of 16, she was employed by K-mart Corporation where she worked in the footwear department. She was soon advanced to the position of department manager, working at several locations from Utah to Hawaii and later in Park City whre she was promoted to Human Resource Manager for the store. She was a hard worker and received "Manager of the Year" awards many times.

She is loved and survived by her loving companion, Russell Saxton; her daughters: April (Paul) Kunz; Amber and Ashlee; granddaughters, Kaylee and Ashlyn Kunz; her parents: Lee and Beverly Rasmussen; sisters: LeeAnn (Lee) Rudd; Suzanne (Reed) Beck; Lisa (Chris) Whitney; and brothers: Danny (Linda); Brett (Joni); and Cody (Kamie); and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville at 12:00 noon. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment, Coalville City, Cemetery.
