Brian Bowman Orgill, our very own Stripling Warrior, passed through the veil to begin his much awaited heavenly mission on April 6, 2010 following two and half years of a heroic battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer.
Brian was born on January 4, 1991, and was raised in Upton, Utah. Brian graduated from North Summit High School in May 2009. Brian was also able to attend a semester at Salt Lake Community College. He had an incredible imagination from the time he was young, which he loved to share with friends and family. He loved technology in general, but especially loved animation and broadcasting. Brian's beautiful spirit was a continual inspiration and example to all those who knew him, and his persistent smile lit up any room he entered. His indescribable strength and hope touched all who came in contact with him. Brian was forever guiding the way with his incredible faith and confidence in his testimony and in God's plan, letting his light so shine for all to see, leaving an awe-inspiring legacy for all those he left behind.
Brian is survived by his parents Kevin and Shannon Orgill, sisters Taryn (Shane) Robertson and Crystal Orgill, brothers Dustin Orgill and Tyler Orgill, niece Alyssa Robertson, grandparents Margaret Bowman, and Merrill & Frieda Orgill. Brian is preceded in death by his grandpa Dwain (Tiny) Bowman. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 12 p.m. at the Coalville Stake Center.
