Chad Middleton

January 19, 1985 — June 5, 2016

Chad Lewis Middleton; Our beloved father, son, husband, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 31 on Sunday, June 5, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry J. Calhoun, and survived by his two children, Chad Jr and Alizae, his loving wife, Crystal, mother, Mary Kathleen, ten siblings & their families, and many aunts uncles and cousins that will all miss him dearly.

Chad was born on January 19, 1985 in Seaside, Oregon. He spent much of his childhood in Maine, Utah, and traveling everywhere in between. His favorite childhood memories came from his adventures in the New England Forest and the Atlantic coast line. He was an avid Patriots fan, and enjoyed spending Sundays watching football with family and teaching Chad Jr the rules of the game. Chad's life is full of great memories, difficult life lessons, and loving relationships.

He enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, fishing, boating, camping, and trips to Moab in the family Jeep/rock crawler. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. His children were the most important aspect of his life, and every life decision was made with them in mind. He had an incredible work ethic, and always wanted to make sure things were done right. His vision was to create the best possible outcome for his children and lighten their potential struggles wherever possible. His passion centered around building a wonderful life for them, and a place they could call Home. He will always be remembered as a great man, an incredible father, and an amazing friend. We will hold him in our hearts until we meet again.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 3pm at Walker's Mortuary, 45 West 200 North, Morgan, Utah, followed by a procession to the South Morgan Cemetery, and dinner at 6pm at the Riverside Park, 55 North 200 East, Morgan, Utah. Please come with a memory in mind to share; there will be a graveside service for people to speak informally. If anyone doesn't want to speak, but would still like to share a memory for the kids to look back on, there will be memory cards and a keepsake box at the mortuary for people to fill out before services begin. Please arrive a few minutes early if this interests you.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe.com account for donations to help cover a portion of the funeral expenses under the title "Chad Middleton Memoriam Fund". We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, and are thankful to those that have donated their time and resources to helping the family.
