She was born December 20, 1920 in Coalville, Utah to Joseph and Elizabeth Clark. She married Leonard Raymond Simister on July 19, 1941. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden Temple on August 25, 2001. She was given the nickname of Dolly by her father when she was born because she looked like a little doll. Dolly attended North Summit High School where she was a cheerleader and participated in many school activities. She was Summit County queen. She enjoyed her calling as a primary teacher for many years.
Dolly worked at North Summit High School as a custodian. Dolly and her dear husband, Ray, worked side by side at the school for 14 years. She loved everyone there and encouraged and supported all the kids in their endeavors.
Dolly loved bowling, volleyball, sewing and crocheting. She loved watching sports, especially the Jazz. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest treasure of all was her family. She was a wonderful example of love, kindness, service, selflessness, and faith to everyone she met.
