Clara Miller

Clara Dorlene Rigby Miller ("Dee") joined her loved ones on the other side of the veil on Saturday, the 28th of September, 2013.

Her 90 year sojourn on earth began in Mason City, Nebraska on May 2, 1923. She was the second of two daughters born to Mathilda and William Rigby. She married Donald George Miller on March 3, 1942. Two daughters, Merrily and Carol, were born to this union. Don was killed in a plane crash in 1954. Dorlene went to college to earn her teaching degree to support her 2 girls. She taught elementary school for many years in California and in Brigham City, Utah. She served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including serving as an ordinance worker in the Ogden temple.

A viewing will be held at Walker Mortuary in Morgan (45 west 200 north) on Saturday from 11:30-12:30 and a graveside service will be at the Uintah Cemetery at 1:00 pm. She leaves behind two daughters, nine grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Intermountain Hospice team, especially to Julie and Misty who cared for our Mother and Grandmother as if she were their own.
