Connie Carter

MORGAN a�" On March 7, 2010 our sweet wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Connie Lu Wilde Carter was called home to our Heavenly Father.

Connie was born to Lloyd and Mary Wilde on May 1, 1940. She married the love of her life, Vernal Carter, on January 10, 1959. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on June 2, 1965. They were married for 51 years and were never apart.

Connie loved life and loved to laugh. She had a special skill for writing wonderful stories. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was involved in many different callings. She loved spending time with her special friends the Noodlettes. She spent many hours as a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is so proud of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Vernal; her children: Lucinda (Denny) Andersen; Bernie (Sondra) Carter; Clay (Kelly) Carter; Joseph (Natalie) Carter; all of Morgan; Seth (Emily) Carter of Layton; Carrie Beyeler of Tremonton; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are her father, Lloyd Wilde of Henefer, three sisters: Sharon (Gary) Pace, Diane (Billy) Staples of Coalville; and Pam (Dave) Robbins of Henefer.

She was greeted in Heaven by her mother, Mary Wilde; and grandson, Justin Andersen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Morgan 5th Ward Chapel in Porterville, Utah. Friends and family may call at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
