Connie Murdock

ROY a�" Connie Murdock, 75, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend of many passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 surrounded by her family.

She was born March 11, 1938 in Ogden, Utah to Golden (Dutch) and Glenna Porter. On February 21, 1957 Connie married her sweetheart Stewart R. Murdock in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many callings.

Connie graduated from Morgan High School and attended the LDS Business College. She worked at Mountain Fuel Supply. While Stew was in the army and stationed in Albuquerque, NM, she worked at the Albuquerque National Bank. She worked her career at IRS and retired after 30 years of service.

Connie was an avid lover of all sports, especially BYU football and any sport her grandkids were playing. She loved to golf, bake cookies, and plant flowers in her garden. She loved to cross-stitch, read, do puzzles, and word searches. She loved the beauty of spring; it was her favorite time of year. She loved the family trips to Newport Beach and any time spent at their second home in St. George.

She leaves behind her husband, Stew; one son, two daughters and their spouses; Cort and Beth Murdock, Smithfield; Lynette and Roger McIntire, Ogden; Shannon and Blake Harrop, Hooper; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who were her prized possessions.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Glen Biddulph, Aspire Hospice Care, and Aspen Care Center for their loving care and service.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Roy 9th Ward Chapel (4250 S. 2175 W.) The family will meet with friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be at the South Morgan Cemetery.
