Dale Heugly
September 20, 1937 — February 12, 2012
Dale E. Heugly, 74, of Mesa, AZ, returned "home" to his Heavenly Father, surrounded by his loving family on February 12, 2012. He taught us courage, strength and gratitude while enduring his last battle in life.
Dale was born September 20, 1937 in Ogden, Utah to Vera Leona Petersen and Eldred Heugly.
Dale married ElDeane Maye Flitton (Hambleton) on January 15, 1960 and was later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
His greatest joy in life was his family. He loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all sports, and shared that love with his family and friends.
He served in various church callings as well as his country in the US Army Reserve.
He is survived by his loving wife ElDeane of 52 years and his 7 children, Pam (Wayne), Barry (Suzie), Vickie (Don), Christie (Ben), Todd (Bridgitte), Brett (Julie), Cindy (Blaine), 32 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral at the LDS Church, 745 N. Val Vista Dr., Mesa, AZ.
Viewing Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6-8pm at Bunker's University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa.
A viewing will be held Saturday February, 18, 2012 from 10-11 at the LDS Church in Henefer
He will be laid to rest in the Henefer, Utah Cemetery.
