Dad was an entrepreneur, a mechanic, a craftsman, an artist, a missionary, a railroader a rock hound and so much more. He taught us a strong work ethic and he lead by example. His zest for life, his faith, his strength and his determination never wavered as he endured to the end of his mortal life. He never asked anything of any of us that he would have been unwilling to do himself.
He taught us about service, about love, honor, and respect. Dad, we love you and we give thanks to you for the way that you raised us and for the life that you lived. You worked for us, you sacrificed for us, you taught us and you loved us. We have each grown into adulthood and you have always been there for us. We will miss having you close by, but the example of a life well lived will give each of us strength and encouragement in those times when we need it the most.
We have each became the people that we are today because you have always been an example to us. We will never forget you and we look forward to that special day when we can be reunited with both you and mom. We know that you will continue to watch over us. You will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts. We love you and we miss you already. We will each cherish your memory and by the lives that we live, we will bring honor to the family name that so proudly you gave us as we strive to follow your example.
