Dennis Stuart

Dennis V Stuart passed away September 30, 2018 after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Denny was born to Verde and Gladys Stuart on December 20, 1943. Denny attended Morgan School District and met the love of his life, Cleo Mortensen. They were married February 26, 1966 and were blessed with 5 boys.

Denny learned the value of hard work at a young age and worked up until his last days. Denny enjoyed working construction and was the Morgan County Road Supervisor for 22 years. After retiring, he returned working for both Wilkinson Construction and Extreme Excavating and Landscaping. Denny also spent a lot of his time at his second home, Denny's Welding, established 1979. He said, "He could weld everything but a broken heart, and he even had a rod for that."

Denny loved spending time with his family. He loved snowmobile racing, jeep racing, and truck pulling where he taught his boys the love of motorsports. Denny supported his sons in motocross, truckpulls, motorcycle hillclimbs, and demolition derbies. Denny enjoyed camping in the summer time, and you would find him at Deer Camp in the fall. Denny is going to be missed. He is survived by his sons, Todd, Guy(Angie), Matt(Kacey), Jed(Ladawn), Clay(Mindi), Deana(Daughter-In-law), 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with one sister. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Cleo, Parents, one Sister, and five Brother In-laws.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday October 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the South Morgan Cemetery. Viewings will be held at Walker Mortuary on Thursday October 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services.
