MORGAN - Deone Tonks Durrant peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday April 15, 2013.
She was born March 13, 1931 to Charles and Nina Porter Tonks. She graduated from Morgan High and attended Weber State.
She married her eternal companion Gerald Durrant in the Salt Lake Temple on June 16, 1952.
She was a member of the LDS church and held various church callings.
They lived in Virginia for a short time which she enjoyed. They made their home in Morgan Utah.
She worked at Mountain Bell as a telephone operator, Morgan Theater and Jay's Drive Inn. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting and her flower gardens and was also an excellent cook.
She is survived by her loving husband Gerald, son Dennis (Anna), daughters Julie (Jeff) Jones, Connie (Steve) Zemcik and Sandra (Scott) Dearden. She is also survived by nine grandchildren (two grandsons serving LDS missions), five great-grandchildren and a Sister Maye Francis.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Leisa; Sister, Ila Cottrell and brother Ray Whitaker.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Rock Church, 10 W. Young Street, Morgan, UT. Viewings will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. also at the Rock Church. Interment, South Morgan Cemetery.
