She was a nurse, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was born in Pagosa Springs CO. to Pete and Faye Lattin. She had four siblings she loved dearly: Geri Hansen, Trea Womack , Kristy Boswell, and Mike Lattin. She married MJ Rollins, they raised five children together. She was the loving mother of Kelee (Roger) Peterson, Kim (Gary) Pritchard, Kerry (fiancé, Kathy Caton) Rollins, step children Mikki (Dick) Morrin, and Scott Rollins. She had 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Dixie was a nurse for 41 years, she loved nursing and made many friends through her years of nursing. She loved to travel, fish, hunt, ride horses, and spend time with her family. She was the most loving and caring person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer S and Faye Lattin; sister, Geri Hansen; daughter, Kim Pritchard; and two grandsons, Nathan and Blake Peterson.
A celebration of Dixie’s life will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Mountain Green Highlands Church (5378 W Old Hwy Rd) and a family graveside will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 at the Mountain Green Cemetery.
