Don left the love of his life Shirley "Liz" Hammons Creager to join his parents Lester and Alta Richins Creager on May 19, 2011. He died of a massive heart attack at McKay Dee Hospital.
Don and Shirley were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec. 5, 1952. He was born at his grandparent's ranch in Echo, Utah on May 9, 1933.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with model trains and planes; leaving his family with many memories to cherish.
He was employed by Ideal Cement Plant, Union Pacific Railroad, Hill Air Force Base and served his country in the Korean conflict being honorably discharged. He enjoyed teaching scouts and gun safety.
He is missed by his wife and children: Bart (Becky), Green River, WY; Dea Clark, Pocatello, ID; Vicki (Richard) Linder, Sunset; Jan (Rick) Kamp, Syracuse; Jill (Terry) Wayman, Ogden; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his 2 sisters: Marlene (Scott) Peterson, LeaAnn (Wayne) Bates; and 1 brother Verl (Gaye) Creager and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter, Amy.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the South Morgan Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, May 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be at the South Morgan Cemetery.
