Elaine Paskett

HENEFER -  Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at PineView Rehab Center in South Ogden on June 23, 2018.

Elaine Paskett, 86, was born on Oct 30, 1931 to Ethel and Harry Pennybaker in Coalville Utah.

She was sealed to the love of her lifeJohn Paskett for all time and eternity on January 19, 1951 in the Salt LakeTemple. They raised their family in the beautiful town of Henefer.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved her family with all of her heart. She was a very talented quilter, baker and homemaker.We will greatly miss her homemade rolls and Christmas candy. She loved to camp and fish. Her favorite lake for fishing was Pass Lake in the Uintah Mountains and her favorite fishing hole was sitting on the river bridge in Henefer. She loved to read romance novels and watch all sports on television.She was a dedicated Utah Jazz fan!

Elaine is survived by her three sons: Steve (Jean) Paskett, Ted Paskett, Chris (DeAnna) Paskett, and 8 grandchildren: Rees Paskett, Gina Paskett (Jer) Shuman, Kristen Paskett (Wes) Staples, Rudy Paskett, Neely Paskett, Zae Paskett, Devan Rees and Dallin Rees; four great grandchildren; Alyssa Shuman, Jordan Shuman, Kayzlee Staples and Kayden Staples.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Harry Pennybaker and her husband John Paskett.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday June 28, 2018 at1 pm at the Henefer LDS Church.

Viewings will be held on Wednesday June 27, from 6-8 pm and preceding the funeral services from 11:45 to 12:45 am at the Henefer LDS Church.

Internment, Henefer Cemetery.
