Enid Hulet Mecham returned home to our Heavenly Father and was reunited with her sweetheart on August 12, 2018.
Enid was born on February 6, 1934 to Howard Paul Hulet and Virginia Rae Bandford Hulet of Morgan. She married Loel Roger Mecham on October 4, 1954 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Enid had the best job in the world; she was a stay at home mom for her five kids. She never retired but got promoted to Grandma and Grandma Great which she considered her greatest honor. Enid had a natural born talent for sewing; she sewed countless wedding dresses (including her own), prom dresses, dance costumes, quilts and many other things. She also had a great love and talent for crocheting. She loved spending time in her yard tending to her flowers and gardens. She also had a great love for music; she loved singing and listening to her kids and grandkids play the piano, and spending as much time with her family as she could.
She loved the gospel with all her heart and was active in all her church callings. Her favorite callings were the 2 missions she served with her husband, first in the Inner City of Ogden, and the other in Independence, Missouri. They also loved serving in the Ogden Temple.
She is survived by her children, Blaine (Teresa) Mecham, Glen (Carol) Mecham, Lorna (David) Carter, Ellen (Kevin) Baggs, Ann (Matt) Hinck, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, sisters Pauline Giles and Virginia Fry. She was preceded in death by her husband Loel Mecham, parents Howard and Virginia Hulet, sister Patience Hulet and brother Wayne Hulet.
A special thanks to the awesome staff of Symbii Home Health and The Family Tree Assisted Living.
