Flora Kendell
September 6, 1918 — February 16, 2008
Mountain Green a�" Flora Hunsaker Kendell, 89, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008. She was born September 6, 1918 in Honeyville, Utah to Leon P. and Mary C. Wintle Hunsaker. She attended Box Elder County schools, graduating from Box Elder High School in 1936 and from the Weber College in 1938.
She married Earl H. Kendell in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 28, 1942.
She resided in Uintah for 23 years, moving to Mountain Green in 1965. She worked at Hill Air Force Base, retiring after 13 years.
Flora and her husband spent the winters in the St. George area for 13 years.
Surviving are six children and their spouses: Colin Kendell, Carl (Mary) Kendell, Mary (Royal) Lamb, Cheri (Kenneth) Lang, Calvin (Bess) Kendell, Myron (Peggy) Kendell; 28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: K. Peter (Wilma) Hunsaker and A. Blaine (Randy) Hunsaker and many neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vero L. Hunsaker and Robert W. Hunsaker.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mountain Green Cemetery.
