Gary Hunter Woolsey, age 65, died peacefully with his family at his side on March 21, 2008 after a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Gary was born on May 10, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Frank DeWayne and Katherine Earleen Knoder Woolsey. Gary graduated from Morgan High School in 1960 and then married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Bonnie Daleene Peterson on June 10, 1961 and later solemnized in the LDS Temple. Gary was employed at McKay Dee hospital in Ogden and Earl's grocery store in Morgan for many years and retired from Holcim Cement Co. after 39 years. Gary loved fishing and camping with his family and friends, enjoyed working in his yard and was an avid reader.

Gary is survived by his wife Bonnie; children Korine (Terry) Wilde, Todd Woolsey & Russ Powell; grandchildren Terry C., Jade D., Jorden J. Wilde and Christena Belle Woolsey; brothers Dennis, David, Scott, Kent and Marty Woolsey, sister Lynda Hopkin.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Morgan Stake Center, 355 N. 700 E. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be in the South Morgan City Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Challburg, Mary, Kendra, Linda, and Myra at the Morgan Health Center for their loving care. Also Tammy Goodwin and RaeLynn Mckee with IHC Hospice for all of their loving kindness and care they gave to Gary and his family in Gary's last days. They are truly angels.
