Mtn Green a�" George Larsen, 89, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at West Point, Utah.
He was born Sept. 20, 1920 in Redwood City, CA to Hjalmar Peter and Anna Sophie Larsen.
On Jan. 21, 1943, he married Melba Virginia Martin in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 8, 2000. He married Margaret Marie Benard, June 16, 2001. She passed away shortly thereafter. He later married Sarah Matilda Pont Hartman on Nov. 30, 2003 in Ogden, Utah.
He attended Ogden High School and Weber State College. He served in the US Army during World War II in Europe with the 89th Rolling W Division. He worked as a jeweler, watchsmith, machinist, and tool maker.
He was a member of the LDS Church and served in several capacities including temple worker with his wife Melba.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Larsen, West Point, UT; two sons and three daughters, George (Blanca) Larsen, Layton, UT; Rebecca (Ray) Medina, Vernal, UT; Hans Peter (Barbara) Larsen, Morgan, UT; Elizabeth Ann (Steven) Johnson, West Point, UT; Karen (Lowell) Mielke, West Point, UT; step-son, Maurice (Sherie) Hartman, North Ogden, UT; 26 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two of his wives, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Highlands Chapel, 5378 W. Old Hwy Road, Mtn. Green, UT. Friends and family may call at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Mtn. Green Cemetery.
