Grant Wadman

March 19, 1954 — November 17, 2011

MORGAN - Grant Alan Wadman, 57, of Morgan returned to his Father in Heaven November 17, 2011. Grant was born March 19, 1954, in Ogden, Utah, to V. Jay and June C. Wadman. He lived in the Ogden area most of his life and graduated from Weber High School. He married Suzanne Bateman and together they had a son, Bruce Wadman. They later divorced. He married Karen Martin and they built a life of 28 years together. Lived in Utah and Nevada, had 4 children, Tiffany, Jessica, Robert and Scott Wadman. They were sealed as a family in the Las Vegas Temple. They recently divorced.

Grant had a great sense of humor and made friends very easily. He was a member of the LDS church and held various callings in the church throughout his life. He spent much of his life owning and operating various construction businesses, in Utah and Nevada. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and traveling. He had the opportunity to see many parts of the world including Mexico, Australia, China, Peru, Israel, Guam and more. His family was the center of his life. A big kid at heart, he could keep up with the best of them.

He had a kind heart and was a very talented man. Woodworking was always a hobby of his; creating new things and watching them take shape was something he really enjoyed. He was a caring, giving, person who was generous with his time, helping where he could. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. He was a patient teacher to many who worked for him throughout the years and became a lifetime friend.

Grant will be missed by many who were touched by his heart, love and life. He has now joined his brother Blaine Wadman, brother- in- law Don White and son- in- law Caleb Nelson, who passed before him. They will surely have a great reunion together.

He is survived by his parents, V. Jay and June C. Wadman of Pleasant View, five children, Bruce (Jessi) Wadman of Harrisville, Tiffany (Joel) Prince of South Willard, Jessica (Josh) Jones of Plain City, Robert (Tawnee) Wadman of Battle Mtn, NV and Scott Wadman of North Ogden, three brothers Rick (Randi) Wadman of Layton, Larry (Maree) Wadman of Pleasant View, David (Ronda) Wadman of Eden and a sister Trudi White of Pleasant View. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Leslee, Trenton, Brooke, Trevor, Keyaira, Desiree, Jayce, Chloe, Brooklinn, Devrie, Sydnee and a baby boy expected in December, all whom he loved very much.
