Together again, Dad’s wish came true, reunited with his sweetheart Carol on March 25, 2016. He was born on November 13, 1936 to John F. and Julia Hobson and spent his entire life on the family farm in Hoytsville, Utah. He married his high school sweetheart Carol Crittenden on November 2, 1955, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on November 2, 1956.
Harold was a farmer and rancher his whole life and drove the North Summit school bus for 53 years. He was an active member of the LDS faith serving in many callings including an intercity mission. Dad was a friend to everyone he met and was loved by all. He always said, “everyday is a good day, some days are just better than others”.
Proceeded in death by his parents, wife, Carol; and sisters; Wilma and Lola. He is survived by one sister, Gwen Saxton; three daughters, Lisa (Allan) Bell, Denise (Kent) Pace, Karen (Samuel) Donaldson; one son, Justin Hobson, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a special blood brother Mont.
Funeral services will be at the Hoytsville Church, Wednesday, Mar. 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Hoytsville Cemetery.
