Howard L Foley

Howard “Sonny” Lester Foley, 85, returned home to his Heavenly Father on March 24, 2025. He was welcomed home by his wife and many dear family members and friends.

Howard was born June 10, 1939, in Visalia, California, to Arthur and Aleta Foley. He married Karma June Richins on May 21, 1969, in Oceanside, CA. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Howard was an electrical lineman, volunteer fireman, and handyman in Morgan, UT. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed fishing hunting, tinkering, metal detecting, collecting coins, feeding birds, and spending time with his family. He knew nearly everyone in Morgan and was friend to all. He enjoyed visiting with them as he made his route to Tractor Supply, Ace, Ridley’s, and the post office and bank.

Howard leaves behind his 2 children, Rachele (Cody) Herbert and Heather Foley. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Gavin, Caleb, and Gracie; and his siblings, Lee, Doris, Irene, Bebe, and Arthur “Jr” and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings Alice “Jeri”, Mary, and Emmett, and 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Madison.

The family would like to thank Dr Gary Holland, a plus hospice agency, and Family Tree Assisted Living in Morgan, for all the care and concern he received.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Morgan Stake Center, 355 North 700 East Morgan, UT, followed by the funeral at Noon.

The interment will be at the South Morgan Cemetery, 335 S State St, Morgan, UT.
