Joseph Jensen

Joseph Michael Jensen died on Thursday, June 11, 2021. His family and friends are devastated by his departure, but were blessed to take part in his short life.

Joseph was kind, clever, and soft. He found humor in so many unique ways and in difficult situations. His smile was captivating. He was charming, buoyant, and opinionated. He was always willing to help his friends and family.

An excellent student, Joseph was continually working on homework and projects.

Joseph naturally connected with animals and children. He loved calling to birds, rolling around with big dogs, and absorbing playful attacks from children. He took great joy in simple things, especially cartoons and video games. Joseph loved spending time with his friends and family playing board games and going on road trips.

Joseph worked as a river guide on the Weber where he expertly led many. His guests and co-workers immediately trusted him and enjoyed his presence.

He is survived by his parents, James and Michelle; his older brothers, Jeremiah and Spencer; and his little sister Rowan.

Funeral services will be held at the Morgan Stake Center located at 355 N 700 E, Morgan, UT 84050 on June 15. Visitation will begin at 9:00 and the service at 10:00 with a graveside service to follow at the Morgan South Cemetery. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Suicide Awareness Voices for Education (SAVE) or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
