Joseph Errol Robinson, age 86, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024. Born on August 19, 1938, in Glendale, Utah, to Malcolm Robinson and Ann Hopkins, Errol grew up working on the family ranch, where he learned the lasting value of family relationships and hard work.
Errol worked tirelessly to support his family, spending most of his career at Staker Paving & Construction, where he demonstrated the same work ethic he had learned as a young man on the ranch. He took great pride in teaching his boys the importance of hard work, responsibility, and integrity.
Always willing to lend a hand and share his many talents, Errol’s kind, generous spirit touched many lives. With his quick wit and humble heart, Errol loved making people smile with his lighthearted humor. Gifted with a beautiful singing voice, Errol often shared his musical talents in choirs and church services, uplifting and inspiring all who listened.
Errol married his eternal companion, Marcelene Hillam, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together, they built a life centered on love, devotion, and service, especially cherishing their time serving as temple workers at the Ogden Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Marcelene, and his siblings Cloras, George, LaRue, Drew, and Wayne. He is survived by his sons Jason (Carrie), Quinn (Tiffani), and Marc (Christy); his grandchildren; and his sisters Ilena and Farris.
