Joyce Hugg
July 18, 1949 — July 23, 2012
Morgan-Joyce Flower Hugg died at her home Monday July 23, 2012 from pneumonia. She was born in Ogden Utah July 19, 1949, the daughter of Emory J. and Elaine (Steele) Herndon. She married John P. Hugg on August 8, 1998 in Morgan. Utah.
Joyce graduated from Ogden High is 1967 and attended Weber State College. She was a member of Chapter M, PEO Sisterhood and Women in Business, Ogden.
Joyce valued her interpersonal relationships above all else. Her sense of humor, spontaneity, intellectual curiosity, and constant willingness to reach out to others will be missed by all she knew.
She is survived by her husband John Hugg, step-children John W (Kimee) Hugg and family of Mesa AZ, Barton C Hugg of Seattle WA, David (Sandy) Hugg of Huston TX, Heidi Ann Ross and family of Boise ID, sister Julia (Dennis) Watkins of Alexandria VA, Jane Herndon of Ogden, brother John E. (Barbara) Herndon of Salt Lake City and sister Jennifer H. (Bruce) Rhoades of Ogden, and the neighbor children, who had adopted her as "Grandma Joyce".
She was preceded in death by her parents and her dear friend, Tom Tucker.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm Sat. at South Morgan Cemetery. The family invites friends to gather at the Morgan home immediately following the services to celebrate Joyce's life.
