Julie McBride

Julie R. Leavitt McBride, 40, passed away at her home on Nov. 30, 2016 due to complications from an extended illness. Julie was born Jan. 11, 1976 to William and Roxanne Leavitt in Ogden, Utah.
Julie was a loving, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She couldn’t have loved more or been more proud of her children. She had the kindest and strongest heart anyone could imagine.
On Aug. 21, 1999, she married her soulmate, Jason McBride, with whom she later had two incredible children.
She worked at Animal Care Veterinary Hospital for 15 years as a veterinary technician. She loved her job and the people she worked with in caring for the animals.
She is survived by her husband, Jason; two children Judith and Ian; parents, William and Roxanne Leavitt; sisters: Anna (Alan) Hozian, Melissa (Matt) Marten, and Andrea (Tracy) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Julie personally wished to thank the staff of McKay Dee Hospital for their excellent care and friendship of her during her illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Dec. 3, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Clearfield Community Church, 525 E. 200 S, Clearfield, UT. A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to the services.
