Kay Lynn Virgin passed away on July 12, 2020. She was born May 20,1951,to Ralph and Julia Ducceschi in Denver, Colorado, she spent her childhood and adolescence in Denver. She graduated from Kennedy High school and dreamed of going to UCLA. Through some unusual circumstances she was denied her dream and with the help of a nice neighbor and her father, she went to BYU and studied elementary education. A path that she would travel for most of her life.
She was baptized into the LDS Church at the end of her 2nd year of school and a year later she would meet her husband. On June 10,1972 she married Gregg Virgin and they traveled together for the next 48 years. She was the mother of 4 son's, Shane, Christopher, Jonathan, and Bryan. Besides being a wife, mother, and teacher, she was an office manager for White Magic cleaning and restoration for 18 years. She held many callings in the church and affected the lives of all she came in touch with. She was the author of the Ember the Dragon children's books and published 2 of those books.
Her family moved to Utah from California in December of 2016 and with the help of family we started life again. She was a teacher's aide at Greenwood Charter school and has loved working with the children and adults for the past three years.
Her family moved to Morgan in November of 2017, and she loved the warmth and comfort of life here. She is survived by her husband, 4 sons, a daughter in law, 3 grandchildren, and many friends. She will be sorely missed by them all.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Rock Church in Morgan Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
Due to current situations it is encouraged and highly recommended to wear a mask.
