Kent Terry

October 8, 1966 — June 15, 2007

Kent Terry

Kent Terry left us unexpectedly, Friday, June 15, 2007. Though we ache from his loss, we smile. He is now free from his struggle with pain and physical limitations. He was welcomed, no doubt, by the joyful tears and laughter of his beloved Grandpa, who preceded him in death.

Kent was born October 8, 1966, to Marcia Terry Plothow and Kent Peterson. He served a mission in Seoul, Korea and later married, in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple, Rebecca Porter Terry, an exceptional woman, wife, and mother. Kent's love for her and their two beautiful sons, Blake and Brody, is eternal.

We'll miss fishing, biking, skiing and movie-going with him, engaging in animated discussions of topics from intellectual to political, to just plain off-the-wall. Most especially, we'll miss his unique sense of humor, compassion and love.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, his two sons, Blake and Brody; his mother and father, Marcia and Richard Plothow, two sisters and three brothers: Jeri (Brett) White, Cedar Hills, UT; Ryann (Shane) Gibby, American Fork, UT; David (Lorena) Peterson, Eagle Mtn., UT; Matthew Plothow, Chicago, IL; Scott Plothow, Peru, IN; his grandmother, Beverly Terry; and six nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007, at 11:00 am at the Mt. View South Weber Ward, 1401 E. South Weber Dr. in South Weber, UT. A viewing will be held at the Mt. View South Weber Ward, Thursday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm and Friday morning prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 am.
