On August 27, 2014, Kim Dee Pritchard died unexpectedly at home. Kim was born on June 3, 1960 at Dee Memorial Hospital to Dixie Lattin and Donald McGibbon. Don passed away when Kim was only 3 years old.
Kim attended Ogden City schools for a short time before the family moved to Mountain Green. There she attended Morgan County schools where she was active in band. She graduated from Morgan High School and attended Weber State University.
Kim worked for the State of Utah, Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (DABC) and was the manager of the Kimball Junction store. She enjoyed reading, music and travel. Kim enjoyed attending music festivals and concerts. She loved her family and loved to spend time with them.
Kim married Gary Pritchard in 1981 in Ogden, Utah. Together they had two sons, Jeramy and David Pritchard. David married Linzee Vernon and gave Kim her first and most prized grandson, Brigg Pritchard. Kim was a wonderful grandma to Brigg and her soon to be born granddaughter. She loved her dogs and spoiled them every day. Kim loved life and loved helping others. She truly had a heart of gold.
Kim also leaves behind her mother and father, Marlow (Mike) and Dixie Rollins, sisters Kelee Peterson (Roger) and Mikki Morrin (Dick) and brothers Scott Rollins and Kerry Rollins (Darcy), as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Kim's life on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2 p.m. at Kim and Gary's home located at 1210 S. Hoytsville Rd., Coalville, Utah.
