She moved with her family to Morgan, Utah where she attended school and graduated from Morgan High School.
She attended Governors Honors Academy at Southern Utah University just prior to her senior year of High School. Following graduation she attended Southern Utah University where she graduated with her Bachelors in Family Studies.
She was amazing with children and babysat for many. She worked in multiple daycares, nannied for several families in Morgan, Cedar City and California. Kortnee was seen by many as quiet and reserved but to those who knew her best knew she could talk. She was quick-witted and would often catch people off guard with her funny responses. She had pearls of wisdom to share, listened closely and paid attention to important details. As a result of her listening she knew and understood people. Kortnee was the best gift giver.
Her nieces and nephew adored her and called her Aunt Koko. She always had something fun planned for them to do. They looked forward to time with her as she helped them explore the world around them.
Most recently Kortnee worked hard and graduated from Loma Linda University with her Masters of Child Life Speciality. She loved her time in California for school where she had the opportunity to be at the beach. She was one of the few students that had a job lined up on graduation.
