Laneal Burke

Laneal Staley Burke passed away unexpectedly on April 5,2020 at Park City Hospital. She was born August 30, 1960 in Coalville Utah. She was the daughter of Neil and Lola Hobson Staley

Laneal graduated North Summit High School in 1979. While in high school she met the love of her life Ralph A Burke. They were married on September 15, 1979 and were happily married for 40 years. Laneal was full of life always helping those in need. She loved life, loved to teach arts and crafts and collect elephants. When her kids were little she helped the school teach swimming lessons. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with her kids camping were she made some of her best meals. Her greatest joy was her grandkids and getting together for Christmas and having all of them around.

Laneal is preceeded in death by her mom Lola Staley, her grandparents Frank and Julia Hobson, and her niece Jennifer Jacobson.

She is survived by her husband Ralph A Burke. Her Dad Neil (Emma) Staley. And her children: Brittanie Lola Heddlesten ( Brad ), Brandon Burke ( Billie), Evelyn Hasting ( Michael ). She also has 9 grandkids and 4 step grandkids. Sisters Julie Ekness ( Danny ), Larita Jacobson ( Bill), Brothers Allen Staley ( Valerie), Brent Staley ( Linda ). And many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private graveside service in the Hoytsville Cemetery. A celebration of life will be planned later in the year.
