LaRue Kippen Mortenson MORGAN a�" LaRue Kippen Mortenson, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully June 2, 2009 at Heritage Park Care Center. LaRue was born to Charlie and Maggie Tonks Kippen Feb. 25, 1928. LaRue married Wendel Parley Mortenson on July 18, 1946 in Morgan, Utah. They were blessed with four wonderful daughters: Jeneil, Debbie and the twins Cindy and Sandy. LaRue loved cooking. She cooked in Buzzy CafAC. for many years and loved cooking for her family. She loved traveling, fishing and camping and loved her Wendover trips. LaRue especially adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

LaRue is survived by her four daughters: Jeneil (Tom) Smith, Debbie (George) Silva, Cindy (Aaron) Venz, Sandy (Doug) Carlos. She is also survived by three sisters: Colleen (Rink) Berg, Leeta (Dennis) Shisler, Neeta (Kenny) Nelson and three brothers: Fred (Gail) Kippen, Darrell (Jan) Kippen, Dee (Connie) Kippen, also nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wendel Mortenson, two sisters: Lucille and Marion and a brother Leland. We would love to express our love and gratitude to Heritage Park Center for all the love and care given to our mother.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 at 12 noon in the Morgan 6th Ward Chapel, 2700 S Morgan Valley Dr., Porterville, Utah. Friends and family may call at the church Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.

Interment, South Morgan Cemetery
