Loel Roger Mecham passed away on Friday March 9, 2018.
Loel was born December 20, 1934 to Marion Rexford Mecham and Alice Viola Whittier in Milton, Utah. He married Enid Hulet on October 4, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have lived in their current home in Milton since 1957. Loel worked for Precision Bilt Homes for 33 years, and then worked for Morgan School District until he retired in 2004. His hobbies that he enjoyed throughout his life were, running, hiking, skiing, trail riding, hunting, camping, singing in a Barber Shop Quartet, working hard, spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and helping his neighbors. He was active in his church callings; serving in the Sunday School, Young Men’s, Bishop, and High Counsel, but his favorite calling was in the Primary, he loved serving the children. He also served two missions with his wife, first in the inner city of Ogden, and the other in Independence Missouri. They also served as ordinance workers in the Ogden Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Enid; children, Blaine (Teresa) Mecham, Glen (Carol) Mecham, Lorna (David) Carter, Ellen(Kevin) Baggs, Ann(Matt) Hinck, 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and his sister Alice Faye Palmer.
A viewing will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Milton Church (1255 N Morgan Valley Dr.) in Morgan, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milton Church with a viewing before from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be at the Milton Cemetery.
