Lorna Pentz

Lorna Dean Brinkerhoff Pentz returned to her Heavenly Father and reunited with the love her life Stan on January 25, 2016.  She was born on December 3, 1946 to Clearance Clark and Lillian Jefferies Brinkerhoff in Salt Lake City, Utah. She shared the spot light with two brothers Steve and Johnny.  Her childhood was full of wonderful experiences and lessons of hard work.

In 1959, she met the love of her life Stan Pentz on the back of a horse. They were married August 23, 1963 and on July 16, 2010 they were sealed forever and eternity. He will be waiting at the gates of Heaven to finish the trail ride they started together.

Lorna over came many hardships and tribulations throughout her life. Her testimony of faith and love for the Heavenly Father was always strong.  Her family was her life; she enjoyed laughing and spending time with them.  She was admired by many, (especially by her children) for her strength, love, and willingness to never lose faith.

They spent their life together in Morgan and on his mountain in Lost Creek.  It was there they raised six children Charly Pentz, Rebecca Pentz, Stonewall Pentz,  Camaron (Jody) Pentz, Casey (Jamie) Pentz, and Tyler Pentz Dewolfe. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren that she loved and cherished.  Also surviving her is her brother Steve (Nola) Brinkerhoff who she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her handsome cowboy Stan, her parents Clark and Lillian, her little brother Johnny and a very special grandson Trevor.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Thursday January 28 2016 at the Porterville Church at 3pm. A graveside service will be held on a later date.
