Lucile Ball
March 14, 1927 — December 1, 2016
Lucile Brooks Ball returned to her Heavenly Father on December 1, 2016. She was born in Hoytsville, Utah on March 14, 1927 to Jesse Elmer and Eva Crittenden Brooks. She married Wayne James Ball of Coalville, Utah in 1943. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. Lucile was an active member of the LDS Church and served in numerous Ward and Stake callings.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne and her son Wayne “Jay” Ball of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was also preceded by her daughter Evelyn Rae Ball of Murray, Utah.
Lucile is survived by a sister, Genevieve Brooks Geary, of Coalville, Utah, a daughter, Susan Ball Miller (Don) of Evanston, Wyoming, and a son Greagory Mills (Elisa) of West Jordan, Utah. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lucile Ball will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at her ward chapel located at 7350 South 1300 West, West Jordan, Utah and a viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will follow in the Coalville, Utah Cemetery.
