Lynn Edward Richins passed away on 25 August, 2010 at the age of 94. Lynn was born in Coalville, Utah on 22 November, 1915 to Jared Richins and Ethel Camilla Ralph. Lynn's youth was highlighted by his service to his family on the farm. During that time, he gained a love for the outdoors. A decorated Veteran of World War II, Lynn was awarded two Bronze Campaign Stars, the Combat Infantry Badge, and a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. Upon returning from the war, Lynn married his sweetheart, Alpha Moon on 22 May, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. He loved to hunt, fish, and go camping with his family. He also enjoyed working on the farm. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and Hill Field. He faithfully served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including an ordinance worker at the Ogden Temple. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He spent his later years enjoying the company of his wife, family, and friends.

He is reunited with his mother, father, brothers; Ralph and Ellis, and sisters; May, Norene, Leone, Norma, and Dorothy. He will be sorely missed by his wife, sons Mike (Nellie) and Kevin (Pamela), 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, his brother Marvin, and sisters; Jeraldean and Ilene.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, 31 August @ 11am in the Hoytsville 1st Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:30-10-45 a.m prior to the services. Lynn will be laid to rest in the Coalville, Utah Cemetery with full military honors.
