Mom enjoyed taking care of dad. There was not a morning that Dad went to work without of full belly and a full lunch box. Mom loved the fishing and camping outings they shared together in their retirement years. Seldom was there a Monday they were not leaving for another adventure somewhere to fish or hunt antiques. Mom loved to knit, crochet afghans, and support the Braves for multiple generations. She was honored to become a “Brave to the Bone” recipient with pride.
Mom worked hard all her life until she could not. She loved working at Morby’s, the Summit, and multiple banks including First Interstate and Zions Bank. She loved meeting and talking to people and was considered to be an integral part of the community.
We would like to thank the community for their support and sincere love. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Encompass and the staff who cared for mom. We would especially like to thank Jeanette Vernon for her deep compassion for mom as well as Cory for all the patching up she did. (We’re getting there.) We would also like to thank the individuals at Caring Hearts for the in-home care that was provided.
