Marsha Ann Rollins Sheen

November 28, 1945 — December 30, 2024

Roy

Marsha Ann Rollins Sheen returned to her Heavenly Father on December 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years of age and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was welcomed home by her son Justin Sheen, her mom and dad, and many loved ones.

Marsha was born on November 28, 1945, in Ogden Utah to Glen R. and Betty Mae Stuart Rollins. She was raised in Morgan County and graduated from Morgan High School. Marsha pursued her passion to become a teacher and graduated from Utah State University with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, later earning her Master’s degree from Weber State University. Marsha taught at Roosevelt and Riverdale Elementary for 27 years, nurturing the hearts and minds of countless children. She was a devoted Kindergarten teacher with an extensive knowledge of children’s literature and the ability to bring books to life.

Marsha was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many callings. One of her greatest attributes was serving others and sharing her testimony through Relief Society lessons she prepared. She especially loved attending the temple and did so often.

Marsha’s family was her pride and joy and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She planned many trips to National Parks with her family going on hikes and creating treasured memories. Soccer played a big role in her family's life and she instilled a love for the game in each of her children and was their biggest fan. This continued with her grandkids and she had the ability to out cheer anyone and always showed up with a bag of licorice to share on the sidelines.

Marsha married the love of her life, Jerry J. Sheen on August 9, 1968 in the Salt Lake City temple. They made their home in Roy where they lived for 56 years. Marsha also had a second home in Mesquite Nevada where she soaked in the warmth and adored her Mesquite friends. Marsha is survived by her 3 sons and 2 daughters: Shane (Alicia) Sheen, Troy (Brittney) Sheen, Tina (Ron) Simonsen, Jodee (Justin) Meyerhoffer, Bryce (Sara) Sheen and a daughter in law Hillari Sheen. She is the beloved grandma to 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Greg (Rebecca) Rollins and sisters Patricia Rollins and Leisa (Kelly) Wilson.

The family would like to thank all those who showed love and compassion for our mother and grandmother. Her family and all who knew her will miss her zest for life and the ability she had to put a smile on the face of all those who knew her.
