Mary Richins

HENEFER - MARY DURRANT RICHINS, 67, died Friday, August 2, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. The youngest of 9 children she was born November 16, 1945 in Evanston, WY to Clifton and Minnie Peterson Durrant. Mary graduated from Evanston High School and always had fond memories of her childhood years in Evanston. She married David Alma Richins on April 18, 1969. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden Temple on October 8, 1982. They lived their 34 years of marriage in Henefer, UT until David passed away on October 22, 2002.

Surviving are daughters April (Dave) Allgood of Coalville, UT and Allison (Kurtis) Stevens of Duncan, SC, and grandsons Whit and Waylon Allgood. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert (Linda) Durrant of Meridian, ID and Richard (Joyce) Durrant of West Valley, UT; one sister-in-law Linda June Durrant (Chandler, AZ); two brothers-in-law Raymond Richins and Dennis Richins of Henefer and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 7 at 12 noon in the Henefer Ward Chapel (708 North Main Street). Family and friends may call at the Henefer Church on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday morning from 10:45-11:45 am prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Henefer Cemetery.
