MaryAnn Merz

MaryAnn was born August 27, 1958, in Junction City, Kansas to Martin Paul and Jane Dawson Merz. She was the youngest of five children. MaryAnn was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend.

She had one son who she loved dearly and three grandchildren who were the light of her life. She was a wonderful cook and loved baking treats for her family. She loved animals, music, and dancing in the rain. She was a world traveler and had been to places like Germany, Italy, France, Ireland, and all over the U.S. MaryAnn was a hard worker and was always professional. She had various jobs over the years but especially enjoyed Boeing and the IRS.

MaryAnn was quick to help anyone. She had a positive attitude and a smile for everyone. She was a tough, stubborn, and courageous fighter. She never gave up even in the hardest times.

She was preceded in the death by her parents and brother Louis Alan Merz. She is survived by her son Shawn Alan Merz and grandchildren: Otto, Azpyn, and Jax Merz; brothers: Michael (Marian) Merz, Marty (Mona) Merz; sister, Janet Glick; dearest friend Michele (Brad) Wright and children. Also, various nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

MaryAnn may be gone but will never be forgotten. She will ALWAYS be loved and missed.
