Michael Ray Durrant peacefully passed away on June 27, 2018, after a long battle with Crohn’s Disease. Mike was born on June 28, 1976, to Raymond Durrant and Marilyn Muir Durrant. Mike graduated from Morgan High School in 1994. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Sebastian, Florida, where he lived for many years.
On May 18, 2002, he married Danyeil (Dani) Hamilton, these were the best years of his life. Even though the marriage ended in divorce, they remained best friends. Dani was there for Mike until the end and for that we will be eternally grateful. Mike had a passion for baseball and one of his all-time favorite things to do was go the Spring training in Florida to meet players and get autographs. His favorite team was the Atlanta Braves. Mike was a friend to everyone he met. He had a big circle of friends from Utah to Florida and would do anything for those he loved.
Mike is survived by his mother, Marilyn; his sister Melissa (Mardy) Nelson, his brother Mark (Nancy) Durrant. His nephew Tyler, nieces Mallory, Ashley and Shelby; and a great niece Callie Rae. He is also survived by McKylla Quintana, who joined our family four years ago.
Mike was proceeded in death by his father, Ray; both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
