Michael Moore

Mike passed away unexpectedly May 22, 2014 in Wanship, Utah.

Mike was born to Frank and Barbara Moore on February 19, 1963 in Salt Lake City where he grew up with his younger brother David. Mike graduated from Cottonwood High school where he excelled in football and baseball. He attended the University of Utah on a baseball scholarship and later graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English. He married his high school sweetheart Deanne Hadley September 19, 1986 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had two children Ashlee and Jordan. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all sports. He was an avid University of Utah Football fan, but what brought him the most joy were his granddaughters Brakenna and Amya.

He is survived by his wife Deanne, his children Ashlee  (Justin) Jones and Jordan (Kiersten). His mother Barbara Moore, brother David (Shelly) Moore. His grandfather Earl Stauffer, granddaughters Brakenna and Amya. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Frank, two sisters Tracy and Deyon, Grandmothers Florence Moore and Elfie Stauffer and Grandfather Francis Moore.

Funeral services will be held at the Hoytsville Church at 1095 So Hoytsville Road, Coalville Utah on Tuesday May 27, at 6:00pm There will be a visitation prior to the services from 4:30-5:45.
