Michelle K. Rollins Reed

Michelle "Mikki" K Reed, born on September 22, 1960, unexpectedly passed away on June 22, 2023. She was the daughter of Marlow Jay Rollins and Roberta Olsen and had step-parents Dixie and Robert following her parents' divorce.

During her school years, Mikki showcased her talent and passion for theater and choir, leaving a memorable mark on those who witnessed her performances. After graduating from Weber State University with a degree in Nursing, Mikki embarked on a fulfilling career as a registered nurse. She initially worked at St. Ben's Hospital in Ogden, providing comfort and healing to patients in need. Later, she found her calling in oncology nursing, offering support and hope to those battling cancer.

Mikki found solace in nature and various hobbies. She possessed a green thumb and spent hours tending to her beautiful gardens. Additionally, Mikki had a lifelong passion for horseback riding. The bond she formed with horses remained a constant source of inspiration throughout her life. Mikki was also a world traveler, having traveled the United States, Europe, Central America, South America, and Indonesia. She was always looking forward to her next adventure.

Mikki married Dick Morrin and together they were blessed with two children, Jackie and James. Mikki also embraced the role of stepmother to three children, Jeff, Janica, and Jon. Later in life, Mikki remarried and found happiness again with Jeff Reed. Together they discovered the beauty of companionship and creating cherished memories.

Mikki is survived by her beloved husband, her children, her cherished granddaughter, and a wide circle of family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday July 7, 2023 from 9:30-10:30am at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Utah.  A graveside service will follow beginning at 11:00am at Mountain Green Cemetery.
